Hanscom S&T Board

Vision

The members of the Electronic Systems and Software Science and Technology Board ("STB") seek to promote the capabilities of New England as one of the country's preeminent industrial, academic, and defense technology regions in the electronic systems and software sector.

Areas of Focus

Among the areas of focus of the STB are the following:

  1. To formalize public/private relationships and increase awareness in the industrial, academic, and defense communities of the region's electronic systems and software capabilities and challenges by combining members' expertise, assets, and resources. Such relationships will serve to leverage resources, create new assets, and increase the value of existing assets in the region.

  2. To provide strategic focus for the region's unique and significant capabilities in electronic systems and software that aligns with the STB members' interests.

  3. To serve as the catalyst to facilitate the transfer of technology between and among members by supporting both the development of commercial technologies to meet member needs and the commercialization of resident technologies.
