Mass. defense contractors partner with Army center

The Massachusetts Defense Technology Initiative, a group representing state defense contractors and research sites, struck an accord with the Army's Soldier Systems Center in Natick to speed the transition of technology from the center's research labs into Massachusetts firms, and from private and university labs in the state into the research-oriented base. The partnership deal was signed at the Natick site by its director, Philip Brandler, and Alan Macdonald , executive director of the defense technology initiative. (Robert Weisman)
