A retired fighter pilot and top homeland defense commander from
Plymouth has been tapped by the Massachusetts Defense Technology Initiative to be its new executive director. Brig. Gen. Donald J. Quenneville started working with the advocacy group for the state’s defense industry this week. Quenneville, whose career with the Air Force lasted 36 years, is working out of the group’s
Waltham office. He was most recently deputy commander of force employment in the Canadian North American Aerospace Defense Region. He was also previously a commander of the National Guard’s 102nd Fighter Wing that had been based on
Cape Cod .
